What I love the most about weddings is their individuality. Every wedding is unique bringing its own characteristics and personality.
To ensure I capture all the elements of your day I offer a package covering from the morning preparations until the first dance. I am extremely flexible and will accommodate to your exact needs.
I believe in telling your story exactly how it happened. I will give you some direction when it comes to the Bride and Groom portraits but I tend to keep these as natural as possible. I want to see you being yourselves and not as a staged couple that your friends and family would not recognized. I want you to feel confident and relaxed in front of the camera and for your guests to not even notice I'm there.
I will listen to your needs and get to know you as a couple. I believe its important to build a relationship with all my couples before the big day arrives.
Essentially this helps me understand the things you do and don't like and for you to feel relaxed around me and my camera. Ultimately I want you to feel
confident in me as your photographer.

Interested in an Engagement Shoot?
Engagement sessions are a great opportunity for the 3 three of us to get to know each other and for you to have a practice being in front of the camera. This will help you to feel more comfortable in preparation for the big day. You can also use your engagement images for your save the date cards or invitations.
Pre Wedding Meeting
In order to iron out any last minute creases or for you to give any updates you can request another chat over the phone.
This is one of my favourite parts of the day! There is nothing more exciting than getting ready for your wedding. Dresses hanging up, hair in curlers, sharing mirrors, make up applied to perfection, the scent of 6 different perfumes in the air and the pop of the first champagne bottle of the day. I won't get in your way I will simply capture the action as it unfolds. The morning preparation will be just as much a part of your day and I would love to document this for you.
The official bit! I will arrive at your ceremony venue to photograph the groom with his groomsmen before the bride arrives. Some registers and ministers are strict when it comes to photography during the ceremony. It will be to their discretion as to where the photographer is allowed to stand and to the use of any flash being used. I will of course respect any discretions they may have. It might be worth finding this out in advance.
I like to keep the group shoots as relaxed as I can. I tend to ask for a hand from the bridal party to help round up guests ready for their group shoot as this can be quite time consuming. I would strongly suggest keeping your list of groups as small as possible so it does not take up too much of your valuable time.
Bride and Groom portraits
This is when I get all arty and when you get your first little break together as a married couple away from the commotion. We will take 20 minutes away from your guests to go somewhere quiet to get some romantic and modern portraits of you both. I will give you a small amount of direction but will keep these as natural as I can. It is always nice to do these portraits as near to sunset (if possible) as the light is at its most beautiful. Depending on the time of year, lack of light and weather we can do these portraits either before the wedding breakfast or afterwards.
Reception and Speeches
This is the part of where I capture most of the candid shots of yourselves interacting with your guests and to capture the details that you have incorporated into your wedding. I know such a lot of time and attention has been put into the finer details and I will make sure nothing goes un-noticed. This is also when lovely little moments occur as your guests won’t notice I am around and helps me capture natural smiles and laughs.
When it is time for you and your guests to sit down for the meal, it will also be time for me to take a break and recharge. No one enjoys a camera around whilst eating so I will be out of sight until you are ready for your speeches to begin.
Evening Guests and First Dance
As more guest arrive for the evening and the atmosphere of the day gets turned up a notch with the evening drawing into dark, I will be there continuing to get candid photos of your guests. Let me know when you are ready to cut your cake and then we go into the first dance. It is useful for me to know your first dance song choice due to light being a bit more difficult at this time of the day. After your first dance I will stay for one more song and then my work is done and shall say my goodbyes.
After your wedding
In the weeks following your wedding I will be working away editing your images and may share a small number of previews on my blog and social media pages in order to keep my marketing content up to date. This helps other couples see my most up to date work the same way when you were searching for your photographer. This will give yourself and your guests a preview of what's to come before the final images are all finished. You will receive around 500 images depending on the length of your day. All final images are edited/retouched and sent out to you as high res digital JPEG files on a USB stick with a presentation case. No unedited images will be given out. This usually takes about 4-6 weeks for the USB stick to arrive with you.
